Building HR Systems with NLP at the Core - A Journey from Academic Research to Industry
Abstract
My talk was a new chance to reflect on how the mindset and rigor developed in academic research can bring significant value when designing AI systems for real-world impact. During the talk, I shared examples of the value weโre bringing to the HR space, along with some of our latest work in hashtag#AI, including: โข The integration of Generative AI into our platform through our own ๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐ถ๐น๐ผ๐, built to support recruiters in doing their job. โข Major improvements to our ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ, fully developed in-house using neural models. โข The expansion of our ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐บ๐ from ~6,000 to ~25,000 entries, thanks to semantic technologies, with much more growth expected in the coming months.
